Position Overview
Stock Controller – Medirite Plus Monavoni
Medirite Plus Monavoni is seeking a Stock Controller with strong inventory management skills to help maintain optimal stock levels and ensure accurate stock flow between the store, distribution center, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a retail environment and demonstrate a high level of precision and reliability in handling stock-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive incoming goods and verify them against supplier invoices
- Capture invoices promptly and accurately into the system
- Ensure items received match the invoiced quantities, product types, and conditions
- Process returns to suppliers according to company SOPs
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom environment
- Assist in managing and securing high-risk inventory
- Identify and report stock discrepancies to the store manager
- Return any damaged or unordered goods and issue appropriate credit notes in line with policy
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy boxes and offloading pallets
- Support other departments and perform additional duties as required

- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar stock control role within a retail or FMCG environment
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong background in retail/FMCG operations
- Deep understanding of inventory control principles and stock handling best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Problem-solving mindset
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Office 365
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar inventory systems
- Good numerical ability and effective communication skills
Additional Information:
This is a physically intensive role and requires someone capable of handling manual stock movement and pallet unloading. Flexibility to assist across departments as operational needs arise is essential.
