Service Administrator (R35 000 to R40 00pm)

Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workshop Administrator to support our technicians, foreman, and service manager with essential administrative tasks. This role is vital in ensuring smooth workshop operations, accurate service documentation, and driving service-related revenue through efficient quoting and parts management.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Professionally handle incoming calls and customer inquiries
  • Liaise effectively with workshop staff, customers, and suppliers
  • Source part numbers for Bobcat and Sany to assist technicians in compiling accurate quotes
  • Prepare and dispatch quotations promptly
  • Follow up on quotes to track conversion rates and investigate reasons for lost opportunities
  • Assist with order amendments and part-related queries, including managing shortages and alternative sourcing
  • Maintain an organized document control and filing system for workshop records
  • Ensure strong customer relationships and maintain a high level of satisfaction
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support workshop operations
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in administrative efficiency and customer service

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an administrative or workshop support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Autoline is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused with a professional and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and accountability are essential
  • Must have own reliable transport

Package & Remuneration

  • Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 CTC per month
