Position: Porter Driver x 3
Our client is seeking three Porter Drivers to join their team in Franschhoek, Cape Town.
Role Overview
As a Porter Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely transporting goods, equipment, and guests within the estate. This position requires a professional and courteous individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport goods, supplies, and equipment to various locations within the estate.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring careful handling of items.
- Provide courteous and efficient transport services for guests, including on-site transfers.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper functioning of the assigned vehicle(s).
- Perform general porter duties, such as moving and setting up equipment for events.
- Follow all safety protocols during transportation and handling of goods.
- Support other estate departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Keep accurate records of all transport and delivery activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and inquiries professionally.
Experience and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Matric certificate.
- Proven driving experience, ideally within a hospitality or similar environment.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and local traffic laws.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical capability to handle tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
Package and Remuneration
- Monthly Salary: Market-Related (MR).
