As we evolve towards greater operational and commercial excellence, we’re seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Executive within the Group Consumer division. This role is key in managing daily operations efficiently while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic workplace.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the Executive’s schedule, diary, and appointments with precision and confidentiality.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative activities, ensuring smooth functioning of the Executive’s office.
  • Handle all internal and external correspondence and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Liaise with the Finance and Expenditure teams to process payments to third-party vendors.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation, both physical and digital, with an efficient filing and tracking system.
  • Review and quality-check documents prepared for the Executive to ensure alignment with MTN standards.
  • Coordinate the collation of departmental reports and monthly updates for Executive review.
  • Plan, organize, and manage logistics for local and international travel (business and personal) for the Executive and the wider team.
  • Organize executive-related events and meetings, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and execution.
  • Provide administrative support for projects such as the Information Security Forum (agenda setting, minutes, and tracking action items).
  • Coordinate diaries across group executives and support travel, event planning, and budget tracking.
  • Monitor procurement and payment workflows from PO creation to final payment and GL reconciliation.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in Secretarial Administration or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-level administrative role within a reputable organization.
  • Proven experience supporting top-level executives, ideally within a multinational or complex operational environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of administrative policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with budget tracking and procurement processes.
