Position Overview
As an HR Administrator – People Operations, you will be responsible for performing various HR administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth execution of people-related processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
HR Data & Reporting
- Generate accurate people data reports and calculations using HR systems and technology.
- Support senior HR team members by preparing HR metric reports to aid decision-making.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring timely and accurate updates of employee records.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage administrative duties related to recruitment and onboarding to create a seamless experience for new hires.
- Coordinate activities throughout the selection and onboarding process to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Facilitate the recruitment requisition process and follow up until completion.
Employee Relations (ER)
- Support Employee Relations (ER) objectives by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Organize and coordinate hearings and grievance meetings, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
- Finalize relevant ER documentation and update the ER system accordingly.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Assist in implementing Remuneration and Benefits policies, including salary increments and short-term incentives.
- Conduct accurate remuneration calculations and provide administrative support for employee benefits and allowances.
- Compile reports for quarterly audits on employee benefits.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate HR processes related to employee movements (transfers, promotions, redeployments, and rotations).
- Administer procedures for employee separations (resignations, retirements, retrenchments, dismissals, and incapacity cases).
HR Process Administration & Compliance
- Oversee administrative HR processes related to long service awards, relocation, and other employee programs.
- Guide employees and managers on the correct procedures for resolving HR-related concerns.
- Ensure high levels of efficiency, compliance, and customer-centric service delivery.
Customer Support & Relationship Building
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
- Maintain strong relationships within the HR team and across departments.
- Project a positive image of HR through professional interactions and customer service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
📌 Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech in Human Resources or a related field
📌 Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR administration experience
