Location:
Pretoria, Gauteng
Main Objectives:
- Achieve daily production targets in line with the bulk plan, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Maintain product integrity and quality in alignment with company standards (The Premier Way).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality production standards.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices at all times.
- Comply with all company rules and procedures.
- Optimize efficiency in daily operations.
- Conduct planned maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Handle administration and record-keeping.
- Adhere to SOPs, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Stack crates and pick stock.
- Manage damage repacks.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in operating and maintaining scales and other production equipment.
- Strong understanding of production processes.
- Knowledge of quality management principles.
- High accuracy and attention to detail, especially in unit conversions for batch calculations.
- Excellent numerical ability.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in the FMCG industry
Key Outputs:
- Work in a factory environment with heat, noise, and exposure to maize dust.
- Availability for overtime, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
