Introduction
We are a dynamic retail department store offering a diverse range of products, including but not limited to homeware, home décor, party supplies, office and stationery items, toys, sports and pet accessories, as well as health and beauty products.
We are currently looking for a General Worker to join our team at our Crown Mines branch in Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor or Store Manager and will be responsible for offloading stock, merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting customers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading stock deliveries
- Packing and displaying stock on shelves
- Assisting customers on the shop floor
- Keeping the store neat, clean, and organized
- Performing general cleaning tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in customer service
- Prior retail experience is essential
- At least 2–3 years of merchandising experience
- Strong communication skills
- Clear criminal record
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Compensation
- Hourly rate: R28.79
