AVI Ltd. is renowned for its leading household brands across various categories, including hot beverages, sweet and savoury biscuits, snacks, frozen convenience foods, personal care products, cosmetics, footwear, accessories, and fashion apparel.

National Brands Limited (NBL) operates five manufacturing sites with state-of-the-art facilities in Isando (Johannesburg), Rosslyn (Pretoria), Westmead, and Durban (KZN). It is home to well-loved South African brands in tea, coffee, creamer, biscuits, and snacks.

We are looking for an experienced Factory Administrator with a background in food manufacturing to support our Isando Coffee & Creamer site. Reporting to the Operations Executive, this role involves overseeing factory operations, managing executive schedules, and handling a range of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary & Travel Management: Organize domestic and international travel and schedules for the Operations Executive and Heads of Departments (HODs).
  • Expense Management: Process and reconcile expense claims for HODs.
  • Office Administration: Prepare reports, presentations, and manage daily factory performance. Organize meetings and ensure proper arrangements like catering and cleanliness.
  • Event & Initiative Coordination: Plan site events, administer the Team of the Month program, and coordinate Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives.
  • General Admin Support: Liaise with NBL Head Office, manage reception, and support factory reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with factory performance systems like Shopware.

Qualifications:

  • Secretarial or Administration Diploma (or equivalent).
