In South Africa (SA), PepsiCo products are a part of everyday life—from breakfast to dinner, at the gym, on the field, in the office, or on the go. Our key brands, including Simba, Lay’s, Liqui Fruit, and Bokomo cereals, refresh and rejuvenate consumers throughout the day. PepsiCo SA employs over 13,000 people across three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice, and Beverages.
Role Responsibilities:
- Accurately load stock as per invoices and picking lists.
- Ensure timely and correct stock delivery to customers based on invoices.
- Manage buybacks and returns in line with claims and uplift documentation.
- Properly capture returned or damaged stock using the Handheld Computer device (HHC) and return it to the debriefer.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules, routine checks, and vehicle care as per Simba policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle (interior and exterior).
- Ensure all proof of deliveries (PODs) meet Simba’s policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage the delivery assistant effectively.
- Comply with health, safety, and security regulations, including PPE requirements.
- Follow road traffic laws and regulations.
- Stick to pre-planned routes and delivery schedules.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Matric certificate.
- Valid Code 14 (EC: Horse & Trailer) license with a PDP.
- Familiarity with Handheld Computer devices (HHC).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong results orientation and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service ability.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic work environments.
