Job Title: Light Duty Driver
Job Overview:
Motus Toyota Bedfordview is currently seeking a Light Duty Driver to join our team. Reporting to the New Vehicle Sales Manager, this role is ideal for an individual responsible for executing driving duties and assisting with additional tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect vehicles from branches, customers, and external suppliers.
- Deliver vehicles to designated locations, including suppliers, branches, and customers.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for damages, defects, missing parts, spare wheels, and tools, and report issues to the Manager.
- Ensure all vehicles are secure and free from defects before use.
- Check vehicles for damages and confirm roadworthiness.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department.
- Immediately report any accidents or traffic violations to the Manager.
- Work overtime when required.
- Take vehicles for roadworthy certification.
- Assist customers on the showroom floor.
- Help customers locate their vehicles upon collection.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Clear criminal record.
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong customer service and teamwork orientation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
