Job Description
Deliveries & Collections
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of payments and documents, notifying management if a task cannot be completed.
- Collect and deliver vehicles as required, conducting quality and damage inspections and completing necessary paperwork.
- Plan efficient routes and coordinate with staff to optimize task execution.
- Maintain vehicles in good condition, reporting faults and service needs.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and keep detailed journey records using a logbook or delivery schedule.
Customer Service
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
- Transport customers safely and courteously to designated locations.
- Keep company vehicles clean at all times.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating them to management when necessary.
- Maintain the company’s reputation by adhering to professional conduct at all times.
- Report any road-related issues, delays, or concerns to management immediately.
Risk Management
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cheque and cash collections.
- Verify and sign for all cash and cheque transactions.
- Maintain a safe driving record, avoiding accidents, damages, and traffic violations.
- Comply with company policies regarding vehicle use, accidents, and driver responsibilities.
- Follow all legal and safety procedures while on duty.
Position Overview
Responsible for the collection and delivery of vehicles, documents, and parts, as well as staff transportation. Ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with road regulations while delivering professional service in alignment with company values.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver vehicles from branches, customers, and suppliers.
- Transport customers who bring their vehicles for service.
- Move vehicles within the workshop and showroom.
- Report all accidents and traffic violations immediately.
- Work overtime as required.
- Take vehicles for roadworthy certification.
- Assist customers in locating their vehicles in the workshop or showroom.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
- 1–3 years of driving experience in a similar role.
