POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

We are seeking an HDV Driver to report directly to the Branch Manager. This local role is based in Witbank.

You will assist with the collection and transportation of goods and maintain good customer relations by providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will assist with breakdowns, even after hours.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport goods
  • Liaise with clients and accurately record all goods in transit
  • Perform breakdown services after-hours
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle appearance
  • Ensure vehicle servicing is done at the correct intervals
  • Adhere to traffic regulations
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Comply with Health and Safety protocols
  • Attend all in-house training sessions

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Valid Code CE Driver’s Licence & PDP
  • Two years of HDV driving experience
  • Self-disciplined with a high level of integrity
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
