Position Available: Driver – Durban (Umhlanga, Cornubia Area)
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Driver to join our team in the Durban area. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license with a PDP, possess a clean driving record, and consistently comply with traffic regulations. This role involves operating company vehicles, handling cargo, and ensuring the punctual and secure transportation of goods or passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various company vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Transport goods or passengers efficiently and safely to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo as required
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.)
- Follow all road safety rules and traffic laws
- Keep vehicles clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Promptly report any accidents or vehicle issues to management
- Deliver excellent service to clients and passengers
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with PDP
- Clean driving record
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Previous driving experience is advantageous
- Solid knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and performing demanding tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
