Key Performance Areas:
- Foster trust between participants, the community, and study staff.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clinic personnel.
- Maintain a logbook tracking distance traveled and fuel consumption.
- Prepare accident and incident reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management when not providing transportation services.
- Safely transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations.
- Assist with general office tasks when required.
- Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas.
- Keep mileage and repair records updated.
- Ensure vehicles are consistently fueled and ready for use.
- Assist in identifying and reporting any faults in all unit vehicles.
- Report vehicle faults, necessary repairs, or accidents promptly.
- Operate the vehicle safely and courteously, respecting other road users.
- Coordinate with management for the daily transport schedule.
- Complete relevant vehicle usage forms in compliance with policy.
- Safely transport patients to and from destinations.
- Transport staff for home visit assignments.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations.
- Collect refreshments for participants.
- Perform any additional duties as directed by management.
Minimum Education and Training Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with PDP.
Minimum Work Experience:
- At least two years of experience as a driver.
