Introduction

A vacancy exists at Medilogistics for an Administrator based in East London, reporting to the Distribution Manager. The Administrator’s role is to assist the Distribution Manager with daily activities related to a specific distribution hub, area, or function.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer queries comprehensively.
  • Handle queries and provide feedback to clients and the business.
  • Arrange special requests and follow through for patients.
  • Track parcels across all Medilogistics hubs.
  • Perform any other ad hoc functions as assigned.
  • Ensure 100% SLA and SOP compliance and adherence to timelines.
  • Provide professional and accurate feedback.

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain active involvement in office meetings and communications.
  • Foster good relationships with drivers and office staff.
  • Utilize effective communication skills, particularly via email.
  • Follow the correct escalation process for various queries.
  • Adhere to timekeeping standards and manage absenteeism and leave.
  • Comply with company policies.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12

Experience:

  • Previous experience in the logistics industry.
  • 1-2 years in a customer service role.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fully bilingual in English.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
