Introduction
Your Number One Packaging Supplier is seeking a driver for their location in Jet Park, Kempton Park on the East Rand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Complete pre- and post-trip safety checks and operational documentation.
- Utilize navigation technology to follow the best routes.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and arrange maintenance as needed.
- Ensure vehicles are refueled and ready for use at all times.
- Deliver materials to assigned locations promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.
- Professionally represent the company in customer and public interactions.
- Develop familiarity with local routes for efficient deliveries.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8, 10, or 14).
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday).
- Must have personal transport to commute to and from work (non-negotiable).
- Willingness to undergo regular drug screenings.
- Non-smoker.
- Ability to lift and transport stock weighing approximately 30-40kg.
- Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing).
Package & Remuneration
- Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 (based on experience).
