Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Verify dispatched and received assets against the Picking List.
- Ensure all gear is barcoded and properly recorded.
- Complete asset checklists and hand over picked assets to clients during gear checks.
- Log and identify gear being received on the Picking List.
2. Dispatching and Receiving
- Confirm that all gear dispatched is in good working condition.
- Complete and sign off Picking Lists and other documentation after gear checks.
- Assist with loading gear into vehicles when required.
- Ensure returned gear is in working condition and that dispatched kits are complete as per dispatch check sheets.
- Obtain client or client representative’s signature on all return documents during dispatch and return of gear.
- Escalate issues with returned equipment to relevant departments or supervisors.
- Notify the supervisor of any damages, discrepancies, or missing equipment upon receipt.
- Follow the established procedures for handling missing or damaged gear when necessary.
3. Stock Control
- Assist in conducting company stock takes.
Qualifications
- Education: National Senior Certificate (Essential).
Experience
- Dispatching/Receiving: Minimum of 2 years (Essential).
Competencies
General Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) at a basic level.
- Valid Code EB Driver’s License and articulated motor vehicle license (Essential).
