Position: Dental Pre-Authorization and Customer Support Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Assist with dental authorizations, addressing queries, and providing feedback to enhance operational efficiency and member satisfaction.
  • Approve appropriate funding and deliver effective call center services to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain professional telephone etiquette to achieve member satisfaction.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge to provide cost-effective, professional service.
  • Mitigate risks related to hospital and authorized cases by adhering to scheme and clinical protocols.
  • Ensure pre-authorizations align with benefits, scheme rules, and clinical protocols.
  • Meet department service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver affordable managed healthcare services.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma from an accredited oral hygienist program

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a dental administrative role
