Our esteemed client in Eerste River is looking for a customer-focused individual to handle both telephonic and face-to-face inquiries confidently. In this role, you will provide essential support to the owner and senior staff with various administrative tasks.

Language Requirement: Strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
Requirements:
- Matric qualification, well-groomed with excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or front desk roles.
- Professional demeanor with confidence.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
- Ensure customers receive prompt and professional service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on visits, and manage waiting lists.
- Facilitate a smooth customer booking process to optimize workflow.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and accessories.
- Provide and explain quotations, prescriptions, and payment procedures.
- Forward and track orders sent to the lab, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Notify customers when their orders are ready for collection.
- Maintain and update customer files, ensuring accurate records.
- Handle office opening and closing procedures.
- Process invoices promptly and accurately.
- Stay updated on medical aid procedures and process claims efficiently.
- Manage payments, issue goods as per company policy, and handle petty cash.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Conduct general administrative duties, including report typing.
- Manage stock levels, stationery, and sundries as needed.
- Perform stock-taking duties.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
