About the Role
Elite Business Service is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver to join our team in Heriotdale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, ensuring excellent service and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle to transport goods.
- Ensure timely and efficient deliveries to various locations.
- Load and unload goods when required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
- Adhere to traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Requirements
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PrDP.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Johannesburg and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal record screening.
