Job Opportunity: Code 10 Driver – George

A new opportunity is available for a Code 10 Driver to join our client in the Chemical & Hygiene Industry, based in George.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and deliver customer orders daily according to the delivery schedule for George and surrounding areas.
- Verify that the correct quantities are delivered to customers and collected from suppliers.
- Accurately complete delivery and collection documents for financial records.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damage and breakages.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical defects or unroadworthy issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and well-kept delivery vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers, ensuring trips are well-planned before departure.
- Occasionally assist with basic technical servicing and maintenance of electronic dosing equipment at customer sites.
- Support warehouse operations when required, including:
- Moving stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Packing stock onto shelves.
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Transport bulk chemicals to various clients in George and Swellendam areas.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License
- Experience in delivery driving, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to perform minor technical maintenance tasks when needed
