Job Summary
As a Code 10 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients, ensuring professional service at every stage of the journey. You must be reliable, punctual, and knowledgeable about road safety and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle to transport goods
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a valid PDP
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of Gauteng routes and road regulations
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required
