Code 10 Driver – Pinetown, Durban
Company: Zibo Containers, a leading manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging, is looking for a motivated and reliable Code 10 Driver to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete a daily trip sheet for every dispatched trip, recording all invoices, delivery notes, and collections.
- Conduct a vehicle inspection each morning before dispatch, ensuring all checks are thorough.
- Verify that the loaded stock is safe, complete, and meets both Zibo and customer delivery standards.
- Ensure all invoices match the stock loaded for planned routes.
- Confirm the vehicle’s license disc is valid and notify the Dispatch Manager when renewal is required.
- Adhere to speed regulations (max 80kph) as per Zibo and traffic laws.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle, including the cab and load body, per Zibo and BRGC standards.
- Wear a clean and presentable Zibo uniform at all times—casual or worn clothing is not permitted.
- Report any delivery issues, such as stock shortages or damages, to the Dispatch Manager immediately (monthly airtime of R55 provided for work-related communication).
- Log and report any vehicle damages to the Dispatch Manager.
- Complete GRN documentation for stock and pallet returns, ensuring clear and legible entries.
- Perform any reasonable work-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Warehouse and stock control qualifications (advantageous)
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license and PDP
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
