Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, order, and upkeep of our retail premises and related areas, in alignment with SunBet’s standards for operational excellence and procedural compliance.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 preferred; Grade 10 acceptable with at least 2 years of relevant cleaning experience
Experience
- Prior exposure to office, facility, or retail environments is advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and facilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces using appropriate tools and supplies
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, ensuring proper drying before business hours
- Clean desks, chairs, and surfaces, removing any stains with suitable materials
- Empty waste bins and ashtrays, disposing of waste appropriately
- Clean windows and ensure streak-free drying
- Keep the kitchen and its equipment clean and functional
- Sanitize restrooms thoroughly and replenish necessary supplies regularly
- Wipe walls, doors, and decorations with suitable cleaners
- Monitor and manage cleaning chemical levels and supply inventory
- Prepare tea stations and organize crockery
- Perform dishwasher maintenance at the end of each day
- Clean all used equipment and report any damages
- Ensure waste is removed promptly
- Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and environmental guidelines
- Use and store all equipment safely and according to regulations
- Address or report issues and maintenance needs
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting and interacting professionally with clients
- Handle complaints, suggestions, and requests effectively, escalating when needed
- Keep restrooms in consistently clean condition
- Support with setting up betting displays in the betting hall
