Job Opportunity: Cleaner – Gauteng Central Services
Job Overview:
Gauteng Central Services seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our office and premises. The successful candidate will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and ensure the environment remains hygienic and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop all assigned areas, including bathrooms and kitchens.
- Refill and restock cleaning supplies (e.g., hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Wash dishes, kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning products and order new supplies as needed.
- Dispose of garbage appropriately in designated areas.
- Clean kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, and water coolers.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric or equivalent certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar cleaning role.
- Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices and standard cleaning chemicals.
- Basic understanding of general hygiene practices.
