Key Responsibilities

✅ Verify purchase order requests and ensure compliance with company policies before issuing purchase orders.
✅ Check that all paperwork details are accurate before processing purchase orders.
✅ Assign the correct General Ledger (GL) expenses to each purchase order.
✅ Submit new applications to the relevant Creditors Clerk.
✅ Provide administrative support to the Creditors Department, including handling ad hoc duties as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications

📌 National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
📌 Experience in creditors/accounts payable is advantageous.
📌 Strong attention to detail and ability to verify financial documents accurately.
📌 Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets.
📌 Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
📌 Strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
📌 Ability to work individually and within a team.
📌 Capable of resolving conflicts while maintaining good supplier relationships.
📌 Dependable, flexible, and punctual.
📌 A solid understanding of accounts payable principles.
