Administrator (Subpoena)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Subpoena Administrator to handle and respond to formal requests for information and documentation, as outlined in subpoenas. This role ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting the broader compliance and legal functions within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders through effective communication and networking.
  • Assist in business development efforts and work with regional distribution teams to implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to corporate responsibility initiatives and cultural transformation programs.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Promote awareness and expand business opportunities by presenting products and services through multiple channels.
  • Support project implementation by coordinating activities and providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
  • Utilize data insights and market trends to identify new business opportunities and suggest service improvements.
  • Develop business cases by conducting analysis, making findings, and presenting proposals with recommendations.
  • Align systems, processes, and services with business strategies and objectives.
  • Engage in continuous learning, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Share industry trends and insights with colleagues and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Relevant certificate or diploma

Experience & Exposure

  • 3–5 years of experience in branch administration or a similar role.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as answering calls, document handling, and filing.
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Managing customer expectations and engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Capturing and verifying reports and records for accuracy.
  • Interacting with multiple levels of management.

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Administrative processes and systems
  • Banking procedures and client service principles
  • Regulatory compliance and legal documentation requirements
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • Strong business writing and reporting skills
