Position: LISP Administrator (Processing)

Key Purpose:
Administer all Discovery Invest products and process Normal transfers (Withdrawal and Retirement) as well as Section 14 & Section 37 transfers (Directive 135). Handle telephonic and other queries from policyholders, financial advisors, franchises, and other companies. Responsibilities are not limited to those listed here.

Key Outputs:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Administer and specialize in retirement funds, including Preservation Provident, Preservation Pension, Retirement Annuities, and Living Annuities.
  • Process various types of transfers.
  • Request and follow up on outstanding documents with external companies, financial advisors, franchises, and clients.
  • Address queries via email and handle inbound calls, with the potential for outbound calls.
  • Manage escalations.
  • Build relationships with financial advisors and internal and external colleagues/clients.
  • Assist walk-in clients and answer their questions.
  • Monitor the task list to ensure all cases assigned to you are handled within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Assist with manual capturing of applications.
  • Support testing and system implementations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required: Matric
  • Nice to Have:
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Long-Term Insurance Act (Directive 135)
    • Knowledge and understanding of Retirement Products (Section 14)
    • LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) administration experience
    • Experience with the following systems:
      • Frontline
