Administrator (Fines)

Position: Fines Administrator
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Department: CSA Helderkruin Office
Reports To: Group Transport Manager


Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AARTO Administrator to join our team at the CSA Helderkruin office. This role is responsible for overseeing the full administration process related to traffic fines across the Group’s vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with traffic fine regulations and maintain up-to-date records, supporting operational efficiency and legal compliance.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Valid Code 8 Driver’s License
  • Accounting certification (advantageous)
  • Strong Excel skills (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AARTO and Municipal Traffic Fines systems
  • Proficient in MS Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours
  • Knowledge of COF (Certificate of Fitness), enforcement orders, and traffic fine representation processes
  • Strong report writing ability

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and distribute new traffic fines to relevant branches
  • Maintain accurate records in internal spreadsheets and GreenFleet system
  • Reconcile fines data and ensure proper allocation
  • Redirect fines based on driver feedback within five working days
  • Monitor and check all fine notification platforms (e.g., PayMyFines, AARTO, PayCity)
  • Compile and distribute weekly fines and repeat offender reports to Executives every Thursday
  • Coordinate directly with CSA HODs to ensure timely resolution of fines
  • Handle queries, audits, and liaise with traffic departments to clear summonses or warrants
  • Oversee and manage the performance of other AARTO Administrators
  • Personally follow up on unresolved fines and ensure redirection
  • Utilize BI tools such as Cliq Sense for reporting and data analysis
  • Attend relevant meetings and provide updates as required
