Position Overview

As an Administrative Intern (Team Assistant), you will gain practical experience and knowledge in various administrative functions while supporting the team with day-to-day operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build a foundation in office administration within a dynamic, multinational environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide part-time or temporary administrative support as needed
  • Assist with a variety of tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
  • Learn theoretical concepts and practical skills in administrative processes
  • Support team members with daily activities
  • Prepare and analyse budget information
  • Schedule meetings, take minutes, and manage diaries
  • Coordinate travel bookings and process expense claims
  • Manage incoming calls and general correspondence
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation
  • Support implementation of new office technologies and systems

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Background in administration (preferably within Siemens or a multinational environment)
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized, methodical approach
  • Experience working in multicultural teams is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks efficiently
  • Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Siemens systems (e.g. Spodom, SAP) is beneficial
  • Office and customer management experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Relevant language proficiency
