Position: Admin Officer: Vetting (x2 Posts)

Salary: R325 101 per annum


Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Security Management, Security Risk Management, Computer Science, or Policing.
  • Certification: PSIRA Grade C.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an information security environment.

Knowledge of:

  • Public Service Regulations
  • PFMA and Treasury Regulations
  • Compensation Fund goals and value chain
  • COIDA, OHS Act
  • Batho Pele Principles
  • Relevant legislation: MIS Standards, National Strategic Intelligence Act, Criminal Procedure Act, PAIA, PAJA, POPIA, Protection of Information Act, Constitution of South Africa

Skills:

  • Data capturing
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Security and investigative skills
  • Communication (written and verbal)

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement effective information security practices and ensure compliance.
  • Safeguard the Compensation Fund’s data and sensitive information.
  • Conduct information security awareness campaigns.
  • Oversee pre-screening and vetting clearance processes.
