Salary: R10 000 to R12 000
Daily Deliveries:
- Make daily deliveries to Pool Xpert customers and suppliers.
- Ensure stock is delivered accurately and without damage to specified locations.
- Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform daily checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues and ensure they are resolved.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
Compliance with Regulations:
- Follow all transport regulations and road safety guidelines.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation for transporting goods.
Personal Presentation and Safety:
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty.
- Wear provided personal protective clothing at all times.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Loading and Offloading:
- Load and offload the vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Secure goods properly during transportation to prevent damage.
Assistance with Shop/Warehouse Functions:
- Assist with shop or warehouse tasks when not making deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications
About you:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (Code 8).
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a retail or trade environment.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in Bloemfontein.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
