Job Overview:
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team! This role involves assisting with material handling, equipment maintenance, and ensuring overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations by following safety protocols and maintaining stock accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
✔ Store equipment securely and in the designated areas.
✔ Prepare and return third-party equipment stored in the warehouse.
✔ Follow operational instructions to achieve productivity and accuracy goals.
✔ Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts safely.
✔ Conduct daily stock counts to track equipment inventory.
✔ Ensure equipment availability to prevent work delays.
✔ Inspect all equipment before and after use to confirm it is in good condition.
✔ Safeguard company property and ensure its security at all times.
✔ Assist with other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by Operations Management.
Requirements:
✅ Matric (Grade 12)
✅ Experience in similar roles (e.g., General Assistant, General Clerk, General Worker)
✅ Proficiency in English
✅ Must live within 25km of the job location
✅ Clear criminal record
Preferred (But Not Required):
✔ South African candidates preferred
✔ Previous warehouse experience
✔ Ability to handle physical tasks (loading, unloading, stacking items)
✔ Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment
✔ Familiarity with power tools and machinery
✔ Understanding of inventory management and tracking
