About the Role
Zibo Containers, a leading manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging, is looking for a motivated, dynamic, and skilled Turret Truck Driver (VNA) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the VNA forklift before use, checking the battery, tires, and controls to ensure proper functionality.
- Complete the inspection report before operation and report any faults to the manager or shift team leader.
- Safely operate the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift in tight warehouse spaces to transport goods efficiently.
- Ensure aisles are clear of obstacles to prevent damage to the forklift or warehouse racking.
- Use the VNA forklift to pick, transport, and place stock onto shelves or storage locations.
- Accurately pick, bin, and organize inventory items according to the warehouse’s inventory management system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles and storage areas remain free of clutter.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid VNA forklift license (Code: F14)
- Minimum 2 years of experience (preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong adherence to safety regulations and warehouse procedures
