Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a truck and trailer combination as directed by the cartage controller, following road regulations and company procedures.
- Collect and deliver full and empty containers between ports and clients.
- Conduct daily inspections of the assigned truck and trailer, reporting any issues to management.
- Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of the truck.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Valid EC heavy-duty truck driver’s license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in transporting containerized cargo.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Must meet occupational health, safety, and medical requirements and be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
