Requirements:

We are seeking a high-performance, VVIP Corporate Travel Agent capable of delivering a seamless service, consistently exceeding client expectations. The role is sales-oriented, involving target-driven work with commissions and incentives based on sales achievements.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Team Leader, contributing to the team’s success, profitability, career development, and mentoring.
  • Engage in rostered after-hours work as needed, without additional compensation or time off.
  • Ensure timely and effective handling of client inquiries, maintaining a commitment to one-hour response times.
  • Provide quality advice and information to clients, considering routing, cost, and client preferences.
  • Uphold client confidentiality within The Travel Group.
  • Proactively resolve client issues and take accountability for any errors involving you.
  • Visit clients at least once every six months at their offices.
  • Respond immediately to after-hour calls and requests.

Teamwork:

  • Support and collaborate with team members.
  • Share product knowledge and information on fares/destinations.
  • Embrace constructive feedback from team members, team leader, and clients.
  • Take ownership of general office tasks and duties.
  • Demonstrate consideration and respect for other team members.
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Attend after-work events as requested.

Quality Outputs:

  • Ensure professionally presented, error-free itineraries and travel documents.
  • Answer phones within three rings and acknowledge emails within 10 minutes.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and updated traveler/company profiles.
  • Prioritize workload and seek team assistance for more than three pending travel requests.
  • Attend industry training and seminars.
  • Adhere to The Travel Group’s ethics, culture, and beliefs.
  • Grow existing clients and actively seek leads, referrals, and growth opportunities.

Productivity:

  • Work efficiently to achieve individual and team monthly sales goals.
  • Complete all quotes and daily invoicing before leaving the office.

Key Performance Requirements:

  • Basic mathematics understanding and strong writing skills.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Capacity to analyze facts, make decisions, and undertake work planning.
  • Extensive travel experience.
  • Sales success capacity.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R25,000.00 – R50,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Corporate Travel Consulting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • VIP Corporate Travel Consulting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Galileo or Amadeus: 3 years (Required)
