Job Overview
UD Trucks is a pioneer in commercial automotive technology and manufacturing. We are looking for two Production Support team members to assist the Production Department in vehicle assembly. The role focuses on ensuring production targets (KPIs) are met according to UD Trucks’ quality and efficiency standards.
This opportunity is specifically for unemployed youth and requires registration on the YES4Youth platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and other personnel to address technical challenges.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and optimize workflow.
- Work closely with quality control teams to maintain production standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues to prevent defective products from reaching customers.
- Train production operators on new equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, troubleshooting methods, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and other departments for seamless production operations.
- Develop emergency response plans to handle equipment failures or safety incidents.
- Collect and analyze production-related data to drive informed decision-making and improve efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Operations Management (Essential)
- Experience in vehicle assembly or manufacturing (Operational Management role) is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial vehicle assembly will be beneficial.
