Role Overview
Our client is seeking three Porter Drivers to join their team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods, equipment, and guests within the estate. The ideal candidate will be professional, punctual, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport goods, supplies, and equipment across various estate locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring careful handling of items.
- Provide courteous and reliable transportation services for guests within the estate.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper functioning.
- Support general porter duties, including setting up equipment for events.
- Adhere to all safety protocols during transportation and handling.
- Assist other departments with operational tasks as required.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and transport activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing guest needs professionally.
Experience & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Matric certificate required.
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and local traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
