Introduction
Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a Picker Packer Driver to join our team in Bloemfontein. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking to grow within a warehouse and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, allocate, and process incoming goods and stock items
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Process GRNs (Goods Received Notes) and notify relevant departments
- Label and organize stock in the appropriate store areas
- Deliver orders to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Track deliveries in transit and follow up to ensure successful completion
- Understand and manage trip sheets and route planning
- Participate in regular stock takes and inventory checks
- Handle and report non-conforming items upon receipt
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness and maintenance
- Pay close attention to detail to spot defects or errors
- Manage tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain strong communication and administrative accuracy
- Balance multiple tasks while working efficiently and at a fast pace
Requirements & Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Valid PDP (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, including stock taking
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic
- Able to take direction and also work independently
- Must reside in or near Bloemfontein
