Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support a dynamic Interior Designer based in Sandton. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have a passion for interior design.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Administrative Support

  • Manage the designer’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and general correspondence.

🔹 Project Coordination

  • Assist in the planning and execution of interior design projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.

🔹 Client Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional and courteous communication.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly.

🔹 Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including inventory management and maintaining a tidy workspace.

🔹 Research & Sourcing

  • Conduct research on design trends, materials, and suppliers.
  • Source and procure necessary project materials.

🔹 Event Planning

  • Assist in organizing client meetings, presentations, and industry networking events.

🔹 Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain contracts, invoices, and design plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

📌 Education

  • Matric (Grade 12) required; additional qualifications in Business Administration or a related field are advantageous.

📌 Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within interior design or the creative industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
