Position Details: Location: Perishable Triangle, Northern Perimeter Road, OR Tambo Intl, Cargo Section Job Title: Picker, Sky Services Type: Full-Time
Role Focus: Primarily involves general warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading export/import shipments and cargo handling.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a logistics/warehousing environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and self-motivated.
- Flexibility in job responsibilities.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
Qualifications:
- Matriculation (High School Diploma)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accepting and recording deliveries.
- Loading/unloading using appropriate equipment.
- Maintaining cold chain compliance.
- Fulfilling order requests.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Assisting in warehouse security measures.
- Supporting import shipment collections.
- Following supervisor/management instructions diligently.
- Performing labor-intensive tasks.
- Identifying and handling defective items.
- Accurate preparation and labeling of shipments.
