Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our operations team in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This role is ideal for a young, ambitious individual eager to gain hands-on experience while shadowing the Operations Manager. You’ll be involved in a variety of functions, including admin, pricing, customer service, vendor coordination, and app testing. Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- Previous experience in administration or operations (experience in retail or fintech is a plus)
- Strong customer service background
- Basic understanding of app testing or UAT (training can be provided)
- Exposure to vendor management, inventory, or stock control is advantageous
- Knowledge of foreign exchange is beneficial
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and CRM tools
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Background in fintech or retail
- Understanding of pricing models and inventory systems
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Perform general admin duties including data entry, scheduling, and managing documents
- Pricing Management: Maintain and update grocery product pricing databases with accuracy and timeliness
- Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries, provide app/product assistance, and resolve issues
- App Testing & UAT: Assist with testing mobile app features, log bugs, execute test cases, and verify fixes in UAT environments
- Vendor Management:
- Communicate with vendors and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment
- Support vendor onboarding, contract management, and performance reviews
- Reporting: Compile reports, monitor performance metrics, and analyze data to support decision-making
