Role Overview
Support the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of financial information to aid criminal investigations, asset recovery, and legal proceedings under supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Forensic Accounting, or BCompt.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in forensic accounting.
- Preferable experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Fraud risk assessment, internal investigations, anti-money laundering compliance, data analysis, internal auditing, and financial crime detection.
- Forensic accounting, litigation support, forensic investigations, and legal collaboration in financial crime cases.
- Financial services (banking, investment, insurance).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of accounting and auditing standards to support financial investigations.
- Proficiency in investigative techniques for gathering critical information.
- Familiarity with forensic investigation methodologies across various contexts.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and the Law of Evidence.
- Understanding of public sector financial regulations (PFMA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations, and directives) is an advantage.
- Experience in data analysis tools, financial software, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training is an added advantage.
