Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Safely transport items between units.
- Maintain cleanliness and regular servicing of the vehicle.
- Adhere to South African Road Safety Act regulations while driving.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logbooks for mileage and trip records.
- Complete delivery documentation with precision.
- Provide excellent and professional customer service.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Time management proficiency.
- Ability to record and update data accurately.
- Familiarity with Gauteng/Johannesburg areas.
- Exceptional driving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum Matric certificate.
- 2–5 years of driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
