Job Description
Purpose:
To ensure that all operational targets and contractual commitments are met on time and with high quality. Additionally, to maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold operational excellence in the designated area.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Team Leader/Supervisor to meet planned operational objectives.
- Conduct daily inspections in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Follow instructions provided by the Supervisor in alignment with operational requirements.
- Assist in resolving operational challenges and report any deviations to the Supervisor.
- Comply with company disciplinary procedures as per policies and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and promote teamwork in the workplace.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, company policies, and all relevant safety legislation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Grade 12/Matric.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience or exposure in the mining or related industry (advantageous).
Skills, Qualities, and Abilities Required:
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Self-discipline and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team.
