Position Overview:
This role is designed to support general on-site operations and contribute to the smooth functioning of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order through general housekeeping on site
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and risk assessment meetings
- Ensure tools and equipment are safely maintained and in working condition
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Communicate effectively with management regarding work-related issues
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a tailings or similar operational environment
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Physically fit and able to meet job demands
- High emotional intelligence
- Active listening skills
- Consistent visibility and engagement on-site
