Vision Elevators is a locally established elevator company with offices in Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to oversee stock management and assist with deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt and dispatch of all warehouse stock.
- Manage the ordering process for low stock items.
- Plan and coordinate all factory and site deliveries.
- Conduct quarterly stock takes and cycle counts.
- Oversee branch tools and vehicle inspections.
- Handle and process any ad-hoc procurement needs.
- Manage the return of damaged parts to the factory.
- Assess site conditions and communicate any offloading requirements to Procurement.
Specific offloading requirements include:
- Forklift Needs: If a forklift is necessary, the Factory Manager must obtain two quotes for procurement approval.
- Tog Labour Needs: If tog labour is needed, follow the full tog labour approval process. Construction teams can only be used for offloads with prior approval from the Construction Manager.
- Hoarding Needs: Any required hoarding must be approved by the Sales Manager and arranged by the Factory Manager.
Qualifications
- Matric certificate
- Driver’s license
- Forklift license
- Computer literacy
- Own vehicle
- Experience with SAP is highly advantageous
