Driver (Refuelling)

Introduction

This role involves towing, deploying, refueling, and recovering mobile units equipped with generators. The Refueller Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper handling and maintenance of both operational and backup generators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refueling generators.
  • Performing minor diagnostics.
  • Bleeding diesel engines.
  • Reporting on:
    • Incidents
    • Images
    • Completed jobs
    • Alarms and faults
  • Completing job cards.
  • Conducting generator test runs.
  • Performing vehicle inspections.
  • Transporting and handling dangerous goods.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations, including:
    • Spill management
    • Vehicle safety
    • Fire extinguisher checks

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Electrical or Mechanical qualification.
  • Valid Driver’s License (C1) with PDP.
  • Valid Dangerous Goods Conveyance Certificate (advantageous).
  • Clear criminal record and ITC check.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced driving certificate (advantageous).
  • Ability to tow a trailer.
