Position: Porter/Driver
Location: ANEW Hotel OR Tambo, Gauteng, Benoni
ANEW Hotel OR Tambo is seeking a Porter/Driver to provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, and addressing any inquiries about the hotel’s facilities.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- A tertiary qualification (advantageous).
- At least 2 years of experience as a Porter/Driver.
- Valid driver’s license with a PDP.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Observant, proactive, and capable of lifting heavy objects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, maintaining a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Inform guests about the hotel’s services and accommodation rates.
- Foster positive relationships with guests to ensure their comfort and address any concerns courteously to uphold the hotel’s reputation.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, particularly housekeeping and the restaurant, to ensure seamless communication and operations.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries and messages, ensuring all guest interactions are handled professionally.
