Introduction:
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a Picker Packer Driver to join their team in Bloemfontein.
Salary: R10,000 per month
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, allocate, and process goods and stock items
- Accurately pick and pack orders
- Handle GRN (Goods Received Notes) for incoming shipments and inform relevant parties
- Label and organize items in their designated store locations
- Deliver orders to customers efficiently and professionally
- Monitor and track deliveries en route, and follow up as needed
- Understand and utilize trip sheets effectively for delivery planning
- Participate in regular stock takes
- Identify, process, and communicate the receipt of non-conforming goods
- Perform monthly inspections and routine cleaning of delivery vehicles
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to catch errors or defects
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational abilities
- Work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus
- Display strong communication and administrative capabilities
- Show effective time management and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Valid PDP (advantageous)
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting with involvement in stock control and stock taking
Skills & Attributes:
- Clear and fluent communication skills
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Able to follow instructions while also showing initiative
- Must reside in or near Bloemfontein
